Ila The sun was shining through the kitchen window as I mixed the biscuit dough. It was finally the day of Lacey’s graduation ceremony. After breakfast, I would have the rest of the day off to get ready to attend with Queen Katia. She made sure to let me know days in advance that I could have the whole day off, as well as tried again to get me to retire and enjoy life fully taken care of by her and the alpha. She has been telling me that since Lacey was in middle school, how I helped her through all of the hard times, through postpartum, through all the medical issues that arrived after she realized she couldn’t have any more children.
