Lacey I stood from my bed, pulling my school hoodie over my head and throwing on a pair of jeans. The sun was just starting to cast golden rays across the sky. I attempted to rub the sleep from my eyes. Even though I never even got to sleep, with Serene in my mind she was not acting like herself—she flipped from heartbroken to rageful every other second. I aggressively scrubbed the toothbrush across my teeth and ripped the brush through my hair before darting down the stairs. I grabbed some fruit out of the bowl that the omegas had set out on the dining tables. I paired it with a yogurt cup they had placed on a second long table.
