Frank whipped back around, the excitement showing on his face as Katie sat Carly down and pulled me into an unexpected hug. She squeezed tightly, giggling through her hiccupped sobs of joy.
I laughed, squeezing her back as Frank made his way back to us with Carly in his arms.
“I cannot thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to stay here, in this amazing pack with you. We will forever be grateful, Alpha Lacey,” Frank said, bowing deeply in front of me.
