Noma Zwane

It's modern day South Africa and the poverty rate is at the peak, with the unemployment rate joining those peaks too, Botany graduate Nomathamsanqa Zwane (Noma) finds herself in a rock and a hard place when she has to take care of her diabetic type 4 mother, mid-teen brother and her grandmother who in other cases tries her best in giving Noma a helping hand.

Though she has an uncle living nearby who owns a butchery, he's just way too greedy to even have a helping hand.

Noma has been a follower of her childhood friend Zama who is a bad influence to her, Zama is two faced and is all about the nice lifestyle and blessed and blesseé life.

Sometimes she cares for Noma but most of the time she doesn't really want Noma to be her burden.

Noma's life is complicated as she tries hard to build herself .

Akbar Abdullah

He is the last born son of Ingrid and Zamalek Abdullah and is the twin brother of Fatima Abdullah and younger brother to Hadassah and Jahna Abdullah.

He is the highly favoured by his mother and trusted with the businesses by his father.

As he's father is laying on his deathbed, he signs all the businesses and companies to him as he is the responsible one.

He has a deep connection with his twin sister, but rarely communicates to his older siblings.

He's family maybe billionaires but they aren't so perfect as they turn out to be.
