Calum's P.O.V
And, right then, everything seems to stop as she stood right in front of me.
"--I'm in a hurry," she mouthed.
I unplugged my earphones and smiled at her. Act natural, Calum, I told myself. "What? Sorry, I didn't heard you."
"No, it's okay," she smiled - its the prettiest thing I've ever seen. "I just have to get through. I'm in a hurry."
Is it me or she doesn't know me?
I moved and she passed to get her coffee; "thanks!"
"Sure," I muttered. She looked at me one last time before she hurried off outside. As she opened the door, something fell off of her - a handkerchief.
"Hey," I called, as I ran to pick it up. I was about to ran after her when the barista called me.
"Sir," she said. "Mr. Hood, your order, sir!"
"Thank you," I immediately collected it and ran outside, hoping to catch her.
But, when I got out, she was already out of sight.
-----
Leigh's P.O.V.
"Leigh, here!" A girl in pink tops waved at me. She was standing under the tree.
"Hey," I ran to Riley and handed her the coffee.
"Look who's late now," she teased, chuckling, as she sips.
"Shup," I demanded, though giggling. "There was some guy who blocked me on the counter."
"Some guy, ei?" She repeated, raising her eyebrow. She smiled at me devilishly. "Is he cute? Hot? What's he like? Did he got your number?"
"Riley!" I barked, laughing. "He's Asian, I think. Well, he looks like one. Brown eyes. And, yeah, he's cute!"
"I knew it," she said happily, winking at me.
"Oh, shut up," I chuckled. "He's a little we--"
But she wasn't listening to me anymore. She was looking passed me with her mouth opened. "Oh my!"
"What?" I asked in curiosity, snapping at her.
"Calum," she said. There's an awestruck look in her face. "It's Calum Hood!"
"Calum what?" I repeated and, just then, it hit me when I heard a car door slammed shut. I turned around and found myself face to face with the brown eyed boy once again. He was smiling at me as he made his way towards me. "Why are you here?"
"Oh, sorry," he said shyly, sounding alarmed. "I didn't mean to follow you. I just saw you and, well, I got this."
He held his hand where a blue checkered handkerchief sits. It looks exactly like mine.
Wait, is it mine?
I looked inside my bag and searched my pocket.
He held it closer to me. I looked at him, trying to smile, as I took it. "You were in such a hurry. I tried to catch you."
"Err, thanks," that's embarrassing, I thought.
"Anytime," he smiled. He kept his hand still, as if he's waiting for me to shake it. "I'm Calum Ho--"
"You're Calum Hood!" Riley blurted. She was grinning so hard now, jumping and hugging him.
I pulled her and eyed her. "Riley! It's rude to just jumped on strangers. Manners!"
"He's no stranger," she said, beaming at me. "In fact, he's worldwide famous. He's Calum Hood from 5 Seconds of Summer!"
"5 Seconds of Summer?" I repeated, looking from her to Calum, who was now blushing. "That band you've been addicted to for the passed few months?"
"You listen?" He interrupted, addressing her.
"Of course, I do," she said proudly. "I'm a big fan, you know."
"Wow, thanks," he smiled.
"I'm Riley, by the way," she smiled. "Why are you out here anyway? Aren't you supposed to be practicing for the show later?"
"Well," he started, winking at me. "I saw your lovely friend at the shop and recognized her on our way to the arena. Are you coming?"
"Yes," she beamed. "We'll be watching, right?"
"Sure," I smiled. "If we finish our uni-hunt early."
"Don't be silly," she pouted, tugging me. "We paid for the tix. It's a crying shame not to use it. They don't do refunds, do you?"
"If the concert got cancelled only," he agreed.
"VIP," she winked at him. "We'll be seeing you later!"
"Cool," he said, as he walked backwards back to the van. "I guess I'll see you then. Boys?"
He opened the door and three new faces appeared. They were all smiling at us. A guy with blue hair winked at me, as the guy with a lip ring mouthed hi.
"Oh my," Riley started.
"Hello," they all said in chorus.
"So," Calum smiled at us. "See you later!"
