Calum's P.O.V.
"Wake up," I heard Luke's voice, as he knocked on my door.
I rolled unto my back and looked at the clock. Nine o'clock - great. "In a minute!"
Then he's gone. I reached for my phone and saw three new messages. One was from my sister, reminding me of our small family gathering. Another one from my cousin, thanking me for last night. And one unknown...
'Hi, Coffee,' I read, raising my eyebrow. "Hi, coffee. Who the--"
And then it hits me. Who else would it be? I've been waiting for her message the whole night. I know Luke was all wrong when he said she'd never message me.
Now's your chance to ask her out, Calum, I thought.
"Hello, boo. Sorry, I overslept," I said, typing immediately.
Okay, in a minute now...
Beep!
'No, its okay. You must be very tired from last night. :)'
'Sort of. So, how are you?'
'All good, thank you. How are you?'
'Good. Hey, I was just wondering, can I have your name?' Yes, because I so wanna know, I thought.
'Well, let's see. Why?'
'Because I really wanna know. Please? :('
'Sad faces don't get me but let's play a game. Guess it!'
Guessing game. Okay, she's really challenging. Alright, Calum, you can do this. 'Emily, Cassie, Abby, Leigh, Hannah, Alexis, Mary, Kate, Diane, Eleanor.'
'Good! First five!'
Great, at least I got it. Now, which is which. 'Emily or Leigh?'
'Choose one or bye.'
"Dear God, help me," I muttered. I think Leigh suits her best. But I like Emily as well. Okay, here goes. 'Emily?'
'Oops. Sorry. It was nice meeting yo, Calum. :)'
"f**k! No, no," I cursed. 'No, sorry. Please talk to me, Leigh.'
Five minutes.
Thirty minutes.
An hour had passed yet she doesn't text me back. I tried ringing her but she won't pick up, completely ignoring me.
I should have said Leigh.
