Ignazio For a moment I thought she would go through and kiss me until she looked away, uncertain. I knew I had put her in that position, because of how I left things after our time together in Rome. As I gazed into Danica's eyes, I knew I owed her an explanation. My withdrawal from her a month ago still lingers between us. "Danica, I know I left without a word," I began, my voice low and rough.
