CHAPTER 4: Now or Never

CIARA I found myself walking down the hallway to his room as my legs didn't seem to obey my head. Why was he summoning me to his room? Hope it wasn't what I was thinking? My heart made loud thumps as I drew near to his room. I attempted to knock but my hands went down momentarily as I held on to my chest, my heart was threatening to rip out of it's ribcages. It pounded heavily as I felt my soul attempting to leave my body but I caught it, I can't possibly die yet. What if my punishment increases because I delayed a bit? I thought as I reluctantly knocked softly. “Come in.” I heard him growl in a thick voice as my heart raced madly, fear of uncertainty consuming me whole. I took in a deep breath as I pushed the door open slowly and walked in, I met him standing in front of a huge artwork on the wall, his shirtless back turned towards me as I subconsciously drooled on his solid masuline physique. He was well built with broad shoulders and….why the f**k was I drooling on that??? I screamed in my head as I looked away at once, clearing my throat silently. He spun around sharply, his gaze boring into my soul as my breath hitched at once. What does he want with me ? Why did he call me up here ? Why was he staring at me without saying a word? All these thoughts envisioned my mind as he began walking slowly towards me, maintaining an intense gaze. For each step he took, I couldn't help but take a step backward. I was trembling already, this was going to be traumatising, I didn't want those insane memories of that tragic night to come rushing back. I didn't want them to find out about this, they would taunt me more with it. My back crashed on the wall and there was no more room for escape as my pupils dilated in shock, Jayson stood hovering over me as he placed an arm on the wall, caging me right there, a sinister look in his eyes. “You're so weak and pathetic.” He mumbled huskily as his hands trailed my hair slowly and I felt my body reacting stupidly to his gentle touch. And my heart couldn't stop thumping loudly, I wondered if he could hear it. He shouldn't do this to me, I can't relive those harsh memories. I prayed silently as he just stared on, tracing my jaw line with his finger tip. “But you can be useful to me….you know?” He mumbled darkly, his husky voice sending chills down my spine as I shuddered a bit. I couldn't dare look at his eyes, which were now filled with nothing but lust!! I knew it!! I knew that this was the reason he called me here!! This was going to trigger my trauma, how do I hide it because they mustn't find out about this. Tears slipped down my eyes as I bowed my head, praying silently that he lets me go. He used his fingers to raise my head up and for a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of sympathy in his eyes but it disappeared as soon as it came. “Look at me when I'm talking to you.” He growled darkly as I flinched, biting my lips in fright. “What do you want from me?” I stuttered, I wasn't sure if I should ask the question. His eyes litted up in interest as he c****d his head to a side. “You will find out sooner.” He replied with a dark smile as my stomach tightened into a knot. “Or how about I show you now!” His dark voice suddenly rang out as I stiffened. “No please…” I mumbled inwardly. “Please just let me go…” I begged softly but he didn't hear. Or maybe he did, but he pretended not to. Just then, his cell phone rang out and as soon as he retrieved it, his jaw clenched in anger as he moved away from me, giving me a perfect chance to escape but I just stood rooted to the ground. Rage took over his expression as he picked the call but he suprisingly remained mute. I arched my brows in confusion and soon he waved me off as I immediately scrambled out of the room. I breath out a sigh of relief as soon as I covered a reasonable distance, it was a narrow escape. I rushed straight to my new room as I got in and locked the door as I leaned on it, breathing heavily. Riana had shown me to my new room, it was a bit better than the previous. I wondered why she suddenly changed on the triplets arrival. I took few breaths to calm myself down a bit, just then, I heard a harsh knock on the door as I stumbled forward in fear. It came again as I reluctantly reached to open it. Riana sauntered in, giving me a menacing stare. If looks could kill, I would be gone by now. “Why did he call you?” She asked, her eyes scanning my body unnecessarily as she stared balefully at me. Why was she asking me ? I didn't even know how to reply to this question because I was also confused. I really didn't know why he called me…he didn't make his intentions clear enough. “Talk to me….are you dumb?” She yelled out in frustration and anger, I sensed a hint of jealousy in her tone. “I don't know why he summoned me.” I said, my tone croaky as that seemed to get her upset the more. “What do you mean by you don't know…? What did you go to do there?” She asked and I wondered why she seemed curious about this. “Eii…and kneel and when I'm talking to you.” She ordered, snapping her fingers as I fell to my knees, my mind flashing back to my aunt, Jezebel. She always insisted that I laid down on a dusty floor whenever she wanted to address me. “I didn't do anything….he sent me out!” I explained, excluding the part where he caged me to the wall. She eyed me as she retreated a bit. “Are you sure about that?” She asked and I nodded, shooking my head vigorously. Soon, she left as I stared around the room. An open window caught me attention as I stared at it for a while, several escape plans scheming in my head. Before I ended up dying here, wouldn't it be better to escape from this hellish torment?? I stood up as I slowly walked to the window and looked down, no one was in sight. My head clicked….this was the time to escape. It's either now or never…
