Lyra stood in the middle of the challenge ring breathing hard. The crowd was. Then it slowly stopped. She was hurt, with blood coming from a cut above her eye and her arm was burning from a cut that Selene had given her.. She had won. She had won the challenge and the bond between her and Kael was still strong.

Kael came to her. Pulled her close to him. He was holding her tight. Kissing her in front of everyone. The crowd was. Some people were growling. Lyra could feel all of Kaels emotions like he was feeling all of hers. She felt relief, pride and a strong desire for him.

Kael said to her "You were amazing." His voice was low and rough. "I felt everything that happened to you. I was so proud of you and so scared at the time."

Lyra kissed him back even though her body was hurting. She could feel the bite on her shoulder, where Kael had marked her as his. She said to him "Take me to the cabin. I need you now."

Kael picked her up. Carried her through the crowd. People were staring at them. No one tried to stop them. Rylan was watching from the side. Coach Harlan was smiling like he knew something. Selene was still on the ground looking at them with hate in her eyes.

When they got to the cabin Kael put Lyra on the bed. Started taking care of her. He kissed all of her bruises and cuts and Lyra could feel herself getting more and more excited. Kael said to her "You fought for us. Now let me take care of you."

Lyra pulled Kael down on top of her. They started kissing. It got really passionate really fast. Kael took off his clothes. Got on top of Lyra. He was hard and ready. Lyra could feel herself getting wet.

Kael said to her "I love you." Lyra could feel how much he meant it. She said back to him "Then show me."

Kael pushed into her. Lyra felt a lot of pleasure. They moved together slow and deep at first and then faster and harder. Lyra could feel Kaels love and desire for her. She knew that he would always keep her safe.

After a while Kael said to her "The council is trying to help us but my father is not happy. Riverrun is putting a lot of pressure on us. They want to meet with us before the championship tournament."

Lyra said to him "Let them meet with us. I am not going anywhere. Our bond is real. I am not afraid of them."

Kael and Lyra spent the rest of the day holding each other and talking about their future. They knew that they would face a lot of challenges. They were ready to face them together.

The morning they went back to the academy. People were staring at them. Lyra could feel that things had changed. The team was. Kael and Lyra were working together really well. They were like two parts of the person moving together perfectly.

After practice Kael took Lyra to the equipment room. He locked the door. Started kissing her. His hand was under her skirt. Lyra could feel herself getting excited. Kael said to her "I need to taste you."

Lyra moaned as Kaels mouth was on her. She was biting her lip to stay quiet. It was hard. Kael was making her feel so good. She couldn't help but move her hips.

That day they met with Elias. He was telling them about Lyras family and where she came from. Kael was listening carefully. Lyra could feel that he was worried about her.

That night they got a message from Riverrun. It was a warning saying that if they didn't give Lyra to them they would hurt their pack. Kael read the message. Then burned it. He said to Lyra "They are trying to scare us.. We are not afraid. We will win the championship. Then we will be safe."

Lyra said to him "I am ready for whatever comes. I am ready to fight for us for our pack and for our love."

Kael and Lyra went back, to the cabin. They made love again. It was slow and gentle. Lyra could feel their bond getting stronger. Afterward Kael whispered to her "I promise you a future where we can be together without any fear or threats. A future where we can lead our pack and be happy."
