Beyond Strangers

LANA WAS EXHAUSTED. Or at least her body was. Her mind was still very much active. She had woken up by 5am, earlier than her parents and went over to the store to start working. Clients were shocked and surprised to see her at their doorsteps so early. An elderly man even answered the door with a gun.
Nothing seemed to be able to get her in a bad mood. Not any insults and not any mishap at all. She was smiling all through. She worked full time, only stopping for breakfast and lunch. She had a date with Kurt by 4pm and nothing was stopping her at all. Even her parents were surprised by her attitude.
By 3pm Lana had finished up everything she needed to do and had to prepare for her date with Kurt. After a long soaking and relaxing bath, she felt a lot better.
