Chapter Eight

"Sandy!Sandy!"He shouted, she faced her back and sighted him. He waved with his right hand and jogged down to meet her while she waited. She was a plumb,chubby lady with charming green eyes and Flamerex could see bags beneath it notwithstanding she was obviously beautiful. Flamerex admired her.

"Heading to the mall?"He asked suddenly.

"No,I just wanted to go inside the hot dog shop before I saw you."She said courteously.

"So what are we waiting for?"Adeola asked opening the glass door"And note, I'll pay for it"

Sandra entered before him and grinned merrily at him,they walked placidly side by side and took their sits. The shop was like a little restaurant and most people gazed calmly staring because Sandra had put on a gaudy showy gown,this also grabbed the Waiter's attention and he squandered no time to approach them with the menu in his hands.

They ordered chicken and lemonade and where bewildered to see such a meal in a hot dog shop.

"How's Carl?"Adeola inquired.

Carl has been her beloved cousin,she loves him with all her heart and their proximity was tense.

She carefully took a sip of her lemonade hence wouldn't stain her gaudy white dress"He's he won the jump up trophy last week."

"Wow, that's cool."He remarked and engulfed the flesh of the chicken in his mouth,"have you you told Bob?You know he would be very elated and besides,he had a untainted mind for the kid."

She didn't even utter a word,she just had her head downwards and ate her food tranquilly.

"Sandy,Sandy you are not saying anything. Is anything going on?"He knew already what was going on between Sandra and Bobby. Bobby himself had told what had occurred.

Then sluggishly uplifted her head and the oil on her lips had made it look as though she just it a lip gloss."See,Adex,"Adex was the nickname was usually called him."To be candid with you, I hate saying this but I don't want to have anything to do with Bob,"again."

"Why,if I may ask?"

"He broke my heart."

"How?"

Sandra felt infirm about her her past"On January twenty- five was the day when the jump up competition would commence,this competition meant a lot to me 'cause Carl my buddy was factually going to perform but then,"she hesitated."Bob told me he had a urgent that he wouldn't able to come on that very day.Now tell meis that how to show love to your girl....... best friend."

I knew at once that that was a fatous reason. Shortly thereafter, I recalled what really transpired.On January twenty- five, coincidentally,was the day the Defenders were to fight against Argod,a very vigorous villain. Notwithstanding I didn't reprimand her, everyone knew there six Survrace super heroes in Texas but no one knew who. It's was already in the middle of March and everyone must've forgotten about the show.

She went on"The worst part of it was that I caught him talking with an three hundred level University student,Rebbeca,Bob became emotional with her."

Adeola concluded this was the main reason why she had gotten mad."Then I'll call that jealousy."He said finally and he was Frank.He didn't to be,he didn't anticipate her to get jealous but she was. Life sure had it's way of turning things around,he thought.
