Chapter 8 | Eye Candy

Jessie POV
It's been four months since I turned 18. I have really been connected with Star more and more every day. We'd usually have conversations every night, it still seems weird to have another person sharing your body.
Alex and I shifted on the second week after we turned 18. His wolf Elijah is brown and very tall. Star is white with a brown legs, unique and extraordinary.
We were out shopping at the mall to celebrate the end of the school year and our school lives. Or as Lorna calls it, celebrating another year of not pulling our hairs out.
We were finished with our shopping spree and sitting on the tables in the food court.
The most beautiful man I have ever seen walked up to us and greeted us. Gorgeous brown eyes, 6 feet tall, muscular frame, beautiful chocolate skin, a fade with the most beautiful curls, lips that formed the most perfect smile. I could imagine those lips with my mouth, against my skin, on my... 'Jess you need to calm the hell down' I told myself.
"Hey ladies, I was wondering if it would be nice to speak to the beautiful lady." he said looking at me.
My mouth went dry, I couldn't speak. Oh no, this wasn't how I imagined the first time meeting my mate, get it together Jess. It must have been the self pep talking or me just undressing the gorgeous stranger with my eyes. I couldn't hear it, but I finally heard Star chanting "Mate".
Lorna pinched me to stop me from daydreaming. And I finally opened my mouth.
"Hi, I'm Jessica, Jessie." I said holding out my hand to him.
"Hi Jessie, I'm Sean." he said as he shook. my hand.
I melted and my arousal went over the roof, well this was intense. He paused for a second, he must have felt the sparks through the mate bond. If he didn't smell my arousal or know why there were sparks, it mean that he was a human. Well s**t.
"Can I buy you a coffee?" he asked.
"Uhm, sure, why not?" I said.
He took my hand and led me to the Cafe. At the first contact I felt breathless. Oh wow, if touching was like this every time I was going to die at this point.
We left Lorna where she was, she'll be fine.
We got to the Cafe and Sean ordered a strong black coffee, no sugar. I just got a hot chocolate.
"I just want to let you know that you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
I decided to be bold, "Well you are the most handsome man I ever met."
"I just saw you and I knew that I had to meet you, there's just something about you."
"Yeah, I could say the same." 'no there's not just something there's everything about you', well I couldn't come out and just say that.
We talked for a while and got to know each other. Then it was time to get going.
He drove me to Lorna's house and dropped me off at the door. I wouldn't be able to take him to the pack village without raising any alarms,with him and my pack.
He stopped right outside the door, "Hey can I take you out this Friday?"
Okay, that's three days away. How could I live without him for three whole days? Well, I'm going crazy. I need to play this cool.
"Yes, why not?"
"Great, I'll come to pick you up at seven."
We stood at the door for a substantial amount of time til I decided to walk into the house.
"Wait..." he said. I turned around to face thinking we would kiss.
"I need your number, to keep in touch. And I don't think I will be able to sleep without seeing your beautiful face again."
Queue the butterflies. This man just knew how to keep my honeypot running.
I walked in the door and Lorna was there waiting for me.
"Tell me everything!!" she screamed.
And so. I told her what happened at the Cafe and on the way to her house. I spent a few hours with her then I went home.
That night we FaceTimed right before bed and talked about everything. Conversations with him were just so easy to come by.
I went to sleep content and happy. Excited to get to know my mate. Three days seemed like three decades.
