I was stunned at Ashley’s words. I felt bad hearing what she said. I didn’t know she suffered something so traumatic like this and to think that her own mother let her husbands do this to her.
My heart lurched when she said that she was almost r***d. An ill feeling started building inside of me.
“You little b***h! I took care of you, didn’t I? Do you have any damn idea how many times I felt like giving your stubborn ass up for adoption? How many times do I have to tell you that you were a mistake! You were not supposed to be here! Be f*****g grateful!” Lily seethed.
My heart broke for Ash. She was silent for a minute, letting the words sink in. I couldn’t believe a mother like her could tell something so hurtful and heartbreaking towards her own daughter.
