1043 Words
The days have passed, and their relationship strengthens each day. Georgina thought it was the happiest time in her life. Friday night is fast approaching, and she is excited for their first formal date. She already told Pamila about it. She said it was also her first time to see her brother that happy. Georgina was seated near the window when Noah passed by the pavement. He waved in her direction when she caught a glance at him. He pointed to his cellphone before he left. She hurriedly grabbed her cellphone after he was gone. She received a sweet message from him. She giggles in her seat. His text inspires her the whole day, and she finds herself excited to go to school and studies hard. She wanted him to know he was good for her. " Hi." Noah kissed her forehead greeted her while seated on the bench reading her books. Georgina's face lit up after she saw his face. She remembers to show him her work in her writing class. " Where's my sister?" Noah asked her. He wondered why Pamila left her alone. They are almost inseparable when they are in school. " Mark invited her to have a snack with him." She looks at Noah's reaction carefully. She knew Mark was Noah's close friend. She wondered what men think when their sister is dated by his friend, but Noah did not show so much care about it; he even looked cool about it. Georgina smiled. She wondered if he felt OK about it or just hid his real feelings. As days go by, Georgina discovers different shades of his personality. " What's that?" He asked while he was already seated beside her. Georgina got the small journal in her pink backpack. She got too excited she accidentally pulled its zipper, forcefully causing damage to the zipper. Georgina reddens because of her clumsiness. " Anyway, this is my work. Tell me what your reaction is." Georgina let out her journal and started reading her writing to Noah. She was so engrossed with her reading while Noah was amused at her. He didn't really listen so much about her work, but he was overseeing her. " I hear cold night whispering our name, I wonder if you feel the same, wind says our love should remain and never mind the awaiting pain cause true love can make a flame and anyone who tries blame will surely anguish with too much shame and suffer the awaiting pain. " After Georgina finished reading her sentence, " It's wonderful." Noah commented, he was sincere about it, " I never thought you were that good." He came closer to her and hugged her. Georgina pushed him away and pretended she didn't like it but was just conscious of his public display of affection. "Why?" he arched his brow when she complained about his petting. Georgina then just smiles while she slowly adjusts to his clingy attitude. She pinches both of his faces and smiles. " Nothing, Mr. Noah Peterson." She wonders how long they will be like that. Thoughts running in her mind, she dreams that someday their love will lead them to marriage. She turns her head away from Noah and looks in a different direction. She felt guilty for overthinking. He wondered what changed her mood but shrugged his shoulders and changed the topic. He asked her what she was reading. Noah's question pulled Georgina's thoughts from the present and told him about her book. She excitedly narrates the story of 'The hunger games, and he willingly listens. Sofia was tired of Amanda's cold treatment, she pretended she overlooked her sour treatment, but she was already tired of her unpredictable mood. " What do you think, Sam? Do I look beautiful in this shade?" Amanda asks Samantha, sitting on her side-scrolling her cellphone. She looks at Amanda and agrees, " everything looks good in you Am.' She was trying to build her confidence. '' Right, Sof?" Samantha asks Sofia, doesn't notice the tension between Sofia and Amanda. Amanda's face stiffened. She was still angry at Sofie for sending the video to her. She felt offended. Her pride was wounded. She was still recovering from Noah's cold treatment at her Thanksgiving party. Instead of celebrating, she felt defeated at that time. That's why she didn't want to hear anything from him. Sofia also regrets her mindless action and stays quiet. Amanda turned in Samantha's direction and smiled " I will shoot a video tonight at my room, wanna come?" she asked. Samantha nodded " Yeah sure, that's great. Sofia and I will be there." Samantha was still clueless about Amanda's sentiments. Amanda's face scowls. "OK fine, you two will be there at my house before 7pm. OK?" Amanda turns to Sofia and gives her a wide smile. Sofia's face lightens up. She knows that when Amanda says that, she means it. Her cloudy feeling earlier turns into excitement. That's why she loves to hang out with Amanda. She is full of energy. Sofia started to compliment Amanda's eyes, and they continued to talk nonstop about her upcoming video. Pamila and Mark were seated in the canteen. She felt awkward at their silence, but she already knew his personality. Mark can be very quiet. You have to ask him constant questions to make him talk. Pamila started to speak to him, and he finally started to give her an answer until he spoke to her about Michaela. Pamila froze and stiffened. Mark didn't notice her feelings change, but he wanted to get close to Pamila. He tried to ask Pamila because she was the most friendly among the group before he talked to Michaela that he liked her. Pamila didn't notice that Mark was interested in her stories because Michaela was one of the topics. 's**t,' Pamila thought, suddenly lost her interest in Mark. Her heart sank. She was still listening to him but no longer interested in any words coming from his mouth. She felt foolish and stupid for thinking he might be interested in her. Mark asked her if she was OK. She shook her head, said she had a headache, and excused herself. She wanted to talk to Georgina about her heartache.
