Georgina didn't know how to comfort Pamila. They were in her room. She was crying her frustration about Mark. Cursing herself for thinking he might be interested in her, Pamila faced the mirror and asked if something was missing or her eyes were too big or her nose too pointy.
Georgina thought she was overreacting but she didn't want to add to her heartaches.
Like Noah, Pamila has a pretty face. Georgina honestly didn't see any problem with her face. She was beautiful. Pamila got her mother's gorgeous look. Georgina thought maybe her personality was not Mark's preference, but she didn't dare say it to her friend.
Or maybe, she should.
" Mark is blind; there's nothing wrong with you " Georgina tries to boost her friend's feelings.
She didn't want to lose her friend's bubbly and friendly personality.
Pamila was relieved with her words, now smoothen.
After a few minutes, Noah peaked in her room door and told her she got a call from Mark. Noah was clueless, but he wondered why his sister was crying. Embarrassed at Noah's presence Pamila came to pick up his phone and hurried outside her room.
When they are alone, Noah asks Georgina what happened to Pamila. She didn't know how to say it but managed to detail the story to Noah. He laughed and shook his head; Georgina wanted to punch him for making fun of his sister.
She can't imagine if George would laugh at her like that if Noah rejected her.
She would kick him in his face.
Georgina snapped Noah's shoulder successively; before she could hit his body again, Noah caught her hands and dragged her near him. They were so close she could smell his after-bath scent. She felt foolish for drooling in his nearness. Noah smiled when he saw her reaction.
" Aren't you lucky your boyfriend smells so good?" Noah teases Georgina. She reddened and turned her face away from him, guilty for her earlier reaction. Noah cupped her face and slowly brushed her lips in his thumb. Georgina's body reacted, all her senses awakened, the heart couldn't stop pounding.
" You and me both, Even if you don't say it, I know you want a kiss " Noah was smitten with her earlier reaction.
How can he read her mind that fast?
And before she knew it, his mouth was on hers. Georgina felt electrified, her senses reacting doubled than earlier. Noah deepened his kiss, creating a soft moan from Georgina's mouth. When she realized her faint cry, she let go of his grip and pushed him away from her.
"Your sister might see us." She scowls at his unexpected sweet kiss. Noah came to grab her softly, still hanging from their last kiss. He caught her lips again. It was a long and passionate one, and they stopped until they were breathless.
After the kiss, Georgina bites her lips looking directly into his face. Noah was also shocked at his waves of reaction. " I like you so much." He kissed her again before leaving her alone in Pamila's room.
When Pamila came back to the room, Georgina was still flushed. She looked at her curiously
" Are you okay?"
Georgina could not look at her directly. She cursed Noah silently. Now she didn't know how to comfort her friend; how could she do that when all she could think about was their mindblowing kiss?
Georgina was glad Pamila didn't ask any further and remembered to ask her about Mark.
Her face looks surprisingly calm.
I'm over him, and I will never look at him other than friends." Pamila declare.
Georgina admires her friend's fast recovery.
After a short silence... "I think you should stay for dinner," Pamila said
"No, I-I... Well..." Georgina can't finish her sentence. She didn't know if she could face Noah directly after they did.
" You can't say anything; that means a yes." Pamila smiled before sitting on her couch cleaning her nails.
Georgina observes how often she does her nails and changes their color.
After she's done with her nails, she opens her cellphone.
"Look at this b***h" Pamila was smiling.
Georgina wondered what made Pamila talk like that and bent down to see her cellphone.
Georgina joins Pamila and also laughs.
Amanda posted a new video crying because she was broken-hearted with her pathetic face. Though the content says much more about her frustration, they enjoy watching her vlog. She also shows her viewers how to dress up to feel good even if rejected.
Her videos gain many sympathetic individuals. They even judge Amanda's preference is saying she doesn't deserve his attention. She is far too remarkable.
Some become curious about who is the mystery guy who, which makes her cry. Georgina stopped reading the comments.
She had a strong feeling she was referring to Noah. Georgina felt a gush of irritation.
Amanda's last word in her vlog is challenging herself to win the man's heart in a week.
" The brat is confident. Do you think she was referring to Noah?" Pamila voices out Georginas' thoughts.
" 1 week her face." Pamila laughs.
She stopped when she saw Georgina's unfathomable face.
"Are you threatened?" Pamila questions her reaction.
Georgia's face suddenly turned into a scowl.
Of course not; she can have him for all she care.
The dinner was awkward since Noah couldn't stop caring for Georgina's plate.
Georgia's bad mood changes after she sees Noah.
"How sweet of you, Noah; I knew he was such a darling, right? Any girl he picked would be fortunate." Mrs. Barbara commented on Noah's gesture and looked at Georgina.
Her comment heightens Georgina's nervousness, it was her second time to dine with the Peterson, and she realizes how opposite their family is.
Noah's family shouts elegance and prominence.
Except for Pamilas's unbothered manner with her food.
'Lucky her'
Mr. Peterson didn't comment on his wife's statement but observed the whole situation.
Georgina saw Noah's reaction and observed his mood change when his mother commented.
She felt a little at ease when Noah touched her hands under the table but slowly pushed it away; afraid someone might watch.
The dinner was superb because of the food. Even if Georgina was tense, she ate like it was the last supper. She wonders if they always prepare food that much when they eat.
When Georgina was back in her house, she thought about Noah and his relationship with his family; she couldn't help but pity him, though they had plenty of money and could get whatever they wanted in life; she knew how lonely he was inside their house.
Her thoughts were cut from the constant yelling of her brother and father downstairs watching their favorite basketball game.
