" Are you going to stripe your jeans like that because Amanda told you?" Pamila and I are talking about the dare I had last night. They are in her room.
After Georgina got out of Noah's room, she was very embarrassed, and her friend dragged her inside her beautiful room. Georgina's eyes roamed around the place and compared her room space to her, and it was a huge room. She wondered how rich the Petersons were.
" I didn't know what got into me, Pam. I guess Amanda challenged my inner demon" I pouted my mouth as I remember her scowling her eyes on me that night.
"Did she shake your pride, or do you want to show off because of Noah." she was smiling widely and observing my reaction. I try to hide my response and become defensive.
"Of course not. I'm not being defensive, Pam, but I like Noah, yes, but that was before I didn't know he was your brother." Georgina lied.
Pamila hurriedly faced her. " What's wrong with Noah being my brother? can you not like him because he was my brother?" she ask.
Georgina looked at her door, and careful, someone might hear them as if they were talking about a consecrated thing in secret. Pamila laughs at her reaction.
"No, it's not wrong, Pam. I just thought it was nonsense to talk about him since I don't have feelings for him anymore, " Georgina defended ehrself.
"Come on, George, what's wrong with having feelings for him? It's normal, you know. " She said a matter-of-factly
"I have known many girls who like my brother, and most of them are vocal with their feelings. I like you moreover them, by the way. " she added.
She smile at her last sentence, but she don't want her to know the growing infatuation she's having with her brother. It just felt awkward to talk about it with her.
" Thank you for the compliment, but I don't like talking about him here in your house." Georgina was still not comfortable.
" Talking about, you liking Noah?" Pam's voice was loud enough to echo in the corridor. Purposely making it loud to tease Georgina.
Georgia hurried to Pamila; her heart was racing fast as if someone was chasing after her and cover her mouth with her hands.
" Pam..!" Georgina shut her. She regret telling her about Noah. If she knew he was her brother, she would never tell her her feelings. She was a big tease.
Pamila can't stop giggling and laughing. Georgina wanted to choke her throat but instead grabbed her hand and said she needed to go. her parents will be worried. she was nearly mad at Pamila because she left her in Noah's room last night and now she was teasing her.
Pamila explained from Georginas frustrated face that last night they had checked on her brothers room first to see if he already arrived, but when she saw the bed Georgina drop her body already, Pamila didn't know how to wake her up and tell her it was not her bed yet.
When Noah arrived, She wanted to tranfer her to her bed but she was also very drunk and couldn't carry her weight anymore, she was very tired.
Though George still thinks her friend was unfair for putting her in an awkward situation, but she likes her more than anything that upset her.
" Come on, give me your phone." Georgina said. Pamila handed her her phone while busy cleaning her nails on her sofa.
After Georgina talked to her parents, she turned to Pamila and gave her her cellphone. They are looking at each other, and she asks her.
"What?" Pamila ask.
Georgina shakes her head and reminds her about their writing club's weekly writing training.
" I ask my parents to go to our class today, so you have to feed me breakfast before we head to the school." Georgina said.
" Oh shoot, I forgot about the writing. Thank you for reminding me but I thought you will going home" Pamila replied.
Georgina nodded "I will after the class." And started to drag her friend to move.
The hot soup was superb and felt like heaven in George's throat, Pamila already gave her the paracetamol for their hangover, but the soup added extra relief to the beer they drank last night; she wanted to rush her eating. Still, Noah was just across the table. Georgina doesn't want to embarrass herself.
She turned to look at Pamila, who was eating her soup like a cow. She suddenly envied her situation.
" So, you just moved here to Ashton City? eat your food carefully." Mrs. Barbara Peterson talked to Pamila politely though her face was a little irritated at Pamila's behavior.
Georgina wanted to smile at her friend's natural self. I love this girl, George thought. Somehow she and Pamila are so much alike they don't like to pretend anything from anyone. She remembered to answer Mrs. Peterson's question and told her they moved the other month and spooned her food carefully.
She observes how opposite Pamila and her mother are. While Pamila can be sloppy, sometimes Mrs. Peterson's looks prudish.
Mrs. Peterson talked about how she loved Ashton City when she turned to Noah and saw his scowling face. She pretended to continue eating, but noted secretly Noah doesn't like his mother judging at his reaction.
After breakfast, they start to head in the door. Mrs. Peterson's calls Pamila and asks her where they are going.
As if it was not important, she tells her she and Georgina are going to the writing class, a program part of the club they enroll in their school. Mrs. Peterson looks happy about what she said and bid them goodbyes before she giggles.
" Your mother looks cool." Georgina commented.
When she looked at Pamila's face, she observe she seemed a little sad but tied to hide her natural feeling, she smiled at George warmly and told her mother can be bossy and emotional sometimes. Georgina didn't know what she meant but didn't pursue the topic again.
When they are in school, Pamila talks about his brother. However, Georgina gets any information about him, Pamila is almost complaining to George about Noah. Georgina shakes her head. Even if Gabriella is a lot older than her they also fight like cats and dogs so she can understand Pamilas' sentiments.
" You'll get by with your brother Pam," she told her after hearing all her complaints.
