I laughed but it only took a moment for me to realize something, “Have you found your mate yet, Haley?” my eyes were fixed on her when I asked that, curious.
Suddenly, I saw a hint of slight surprise in her eyes as she looked at me. Her cheeks turned red as she waved her hand in the air to try to get away with it, “Nothing, I haven’t met him yet. And, just in case… I don’t want to meet him anymore."
