“No way, Luna!” she exclaimed, almost stammering.
"Then, why did he do that?" I asked, raising one of my eyebrows as my speculation stirred up in my head.
If George didn't like her, he wouldn't have stopped Haley's plan for rejection of each other, but it doesn't seem like that's what happened.
Haley paused for a moment, recalling what she and George had talked about last night.
Haley sighed and adjusted her seat to face me again. “Knowing that rejection won't be accepted if there's no valid reason for it. We’ll only be fooling ourselves, Luna.”
I remained silent in agreement. That was right. Even if they push each other away, their bond will find its own way to bring them together in the end. It will surely be only the two of them and their wolf who will suffer if they keep resisting
