Samantha couldn't move for a moment as she watched the look Mrs. Evans was giving her.
As always, she was wearing her formal suit that carried her authority. But it was her facial expression that changed the most, it was obvious as she smiled at Samantha.
It was as if she had briefly eaten something to suddenly change her behavior. Whatever it was, Samantha couldn't think of any reason enough for Mrs. Evans to give her such a beautiful expression.
“I'm happy to see you accept my wife's offer to come here to Lucas' room,” Mr. Evans spoke, the smile on his lips still intact.
