"Is this urgent?" Samantha quickly asked, now thinking that something bad might have happened to Lucas.
"Y-Yes, Luna Samantha," Abby responded with a bow. "She said, if you can go immediately, please do so."
Maximus and Samantha looked at each other, she saw in his eyes that he wasn't in favour, at all, with what he heard. "I'll come with you."
Samantha didn't answer right away, she could clearly see the tiredness in Maximus' eyes. She couldn't let anything happen to this man when he hadn't given himself a break just because of her own deals.
"I can handle this, Maximus," Samantha quickly assured, their gazes never leaving each other as if they were both calmly considering their next move.
"I want you to rest. After this, I'll have lunch with you—"
