When Lucas appeared, silence fell for a moment. Both Samantha and Maximus didn't know how to respond to him, as they both seemed to dislike his sudden presence.
It's surprising how he appeared out of nowhere.
"I've been looking for you for a while, Samantha," Lucas added, deliberately focusing his gaze only on Samantha.
Samantha was slightly surprised. She didn't seem to remember any interruptions in their conversation to find him. She didn't even remember them talking since she first arrived at Silvania Pack.
"Looking for me for a while?" Samantha repeated.
“Yeah,” he replied. “The event is starting. They can't start without our presence.”
Samantha's facial expression completely returned to normal when she understood what he was referring to.
