Chapter 22 “I’ll make it up to you,” said Dom as Kiko pulled into the lot of the Dill Pickle and parked. There already were a few cars there, but Dom was less worried about what was to come than he had been at Sam’s. He and Kiko could handle a teen, especially one who couldn’t confront anyone. If the most he could do was act out his anger through explosives, he wouldn’t be too much of a danger. Kiko slammed his door and walked around to Dom’s side of the truck. “Don’t bother,” he said. Dom grabbed his arm. “Hey,” he said. “You angry?” Kiko sighed. “Not really. Impatient.
