Chapter 23 “Stop,” said Dom, moving forward, grabbing at Dill’s hands. Damn, the kid was strong, and had Kiko halfway over the bar. The last of their beer spilled as the glasses were knocked over, and Dom watched as Kiko put a hand on the bar to steady himself, prevent being dragged any farther, only to slip. “Going to smile at me now and tell me I’m wrong?” asked Dill, tugging Kiko back and forth, panting. Kiko’s movements were getting weaker; Dom prepared to vault the bar to get to the kid, but before he could, Dill simply let go.
