"The doctor said she miscarried. She has some minor scrapes but nothing serious. Do you want me to bring her here, Mr. Sutton?" Taylor asked with concern. Joseph raised his hand to signal there was no need. His emotions were a tangled mess. He hated Wilma's approach and did not wish for her to be the mother of his child. Nevertheless, he had never considered giving up his own blood. Now that the child was gone, as a father, he felt a pang of sadness. He needed to do something to vent his bottled-up frustration.
