Joseph took the papers, spotting Yolanda's information immediately. His brow furrowed. "This is the driver involved in the accident?"
He saw that driver, and it was a young boy!
Taylor, sensing Joseph's confusion, clarified, "The car involved in the accident is registered in her name..."
"Just because it's registered in her, you think she was driving?" Joseph got off the bed, fixing a cold stare on Taylor. "Was it Yolanda you went after?"
Taylor looked down, too afraid to meet Joseph's eyes.
"I'm asking you a direct question!" Joseph's voice was furious.
Reluctantly, Taylor admitted, "Yes, Sir."
Enraged, Joseph slapped Taylor, knocking her to the floor. "Have you lost your mind? Why did you act without verifying the facts first? A woman, really? What if she was unjustly implicated?
