Joseph turned and shot Wilma a cold glance, saying tersely, "Bring him in."
Wilma was dumbfounded, panic setting in. "Doctor? What doctor?"
Joseph settled into the sofa in the ward, crossing his legs elegantly. "Didn't you say you had a miscarriage? And the doctor who supposedly handled it just vanished? I've brought him back."
Wilma nearly collapsed in shock.
She was the first to regain consciousness after the car accident. She had paid a hefty sum to persuade the doctor to inform Joseph's associate, Taylor, that she had miscarried.
