Emerald’s counselor even held her somewhat responsible, which Emerald thought was ridiculous. The counselor expected everyone to be honest even if it wasn’t the person doing the bad behaviors. Emerald felt like the whole situation focused more on her than holding the ones who were abusing drugs accountable. She didn’t even think that they really got punished. She was denied moving up a level at one point, so it delayed her graduating from the d**g court for a couple of months.
