A Love So Dark

Chapter One

Indie POV

I ran as fast as my leg could carry me but I could still hear the heavy sounds of the footsteps of the men in black suits just beside me,I am a very fast runner but compared to them it was like I was jogging,I looked back and saw that they were very close and they were even more plenty than they were last time.My heart beat started to increase with both fear and tiredness from the long run,the thought of going back to that place that always haunts me made me shiver with fear and coldness,I know what is waiting for me if I am to fall back into the hands of that monster,all my dreams will be crippled not just my dreams even my legs will be dead too.I tried to increase my speed but I only faltered and the men were just behind me,I closed my eyes as a lone tear rolled down my cheeks.I bumped into something a very hard something,My heart thumped loudly against my chest as I awaited the rough hands of my father's men to grab me but nothing came,I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was a red suit and then I lifted my head and locked eyes with a gorgeous pair of hazel ones,His dark and cold gaze immediately sent shivers down my spine,his eyes were empty except for the glint of mystery that shone in it,his dark eyes reminded me of my own life but I couldn't look away,it was like he was pulling me in.It was only when he pushed me away did I pull away from my own thoughts, realization dawned on me and I immediately clung onto him

Please save me I whisper with a pleading look, something I never say or do.He just frowned and tried to push me away but I held on to him more tightly

We need the girl I heard a voice say and I knew that those men were just Infront of me

Please don't I pleaded with desperation, tears gathering in my eyes

I don't care about whatever you did to these men or why they want you but I never get involved in things that don't benefit me He said and my heart stopped, time seemed to slowed down as he gave me a hard push and I stumbled backward into the cold and rough hands of my father's men.As they dragged me away I stared at the man,my eyes filled with pain and tears I had never felt so vulnerable my whole life and now all my armor and facade are all gone.I let my tears fall as the men dragged me away their nails digging into my skin,that didn't compare to the pain I was feeling in my heart.As we entered a street filled with people,I start to scream and struggle in their hands,I looked around locking eyes with whoever I see but some of the men pulled out a g*n and they all start to ignore us like we were invisible,another frustrated tear rolled down my cheeks as I let out a loud scream

You should keep shut if you know what's good for you One of the man holding me said and I glared at him,I know what was going to happen if I am taken back home,to that monster.I'd rather die than go back to him so without much thinking I spat on one of the men's face,the one who was holding me.He stopped in his track forcing the other one to stop and then the next thing I felt was his hand colliding with my face and the taste of blood on my mouth.It stung so much but it was still nothing I couldn't handle so I just laughed despite the pain that caused me

That's right,kill me right here I said

You were not supposed to hit her,The bosses wants her unharmed One of the men said.

Just kill me I screamed

Should we render her unconscious Another suggested and before any reply to that could be made,5 men also wearing dark suits appeared

We just want the girl The man at the front said,so great now two group of mafia men want me

We don't want to fight you,so we are going to let you go One of my father's men said

Unfortunately we can't leave without the girl The same man from the other group said

You leave us with no choice then A man from my father's men said and signalled the two men holding me to leave,Immediately we Left the sounds of fists colliding followed with some grunts filled the air.As we approached a black van which I assumed was their car,I gave the man a hard push enough to make him stagger and bit the other one's hand hardly, immediately I was free I took to my heels and ran with all my might taking corners in order to be able to lose the men.I entered a dark small alley and hid beside a trash can.Soon I heard their footsteps but they just passed the alley without entering it.I let out a heavy shaky breath as my body trembled from exhaustion.

After a while I came out of my hiding place dusting the dirts off my clothes.Suddenly two men from the other group appeared

Our boss wants you One of them said

Look guys,I don't know who your boss is so I am not going with you I said

You don't really have a choice miss,we don't want to hurt you do I suggest you comply with us The first one said

What's your boss name I asked

Our boss shall answer that question for you He said

Hey bro,do you think this is fair

I mean I am just a girl yet I am being chased around by huge men,don't you feel bad for me I asked as I approached them.They just looked at each other and then back at me.With a swift dash,I made to run but was immediately held back and before I knew it I was lifted up by the man and thrown over his shoulder

Let me go I screamed but he just ignored me,I kicked and scratched,slap and Even pinched his back but he didn't seem affected

I was dropped down Infront of a black BMW,I stared at the car and then at the man who just gave me a small grin and then opened the car.

You should get in miss,our boss is getting impatient He said

I don't care about your boss I said and immediately I said so,a hand pulled me into the car and I fell right into the person with my head right in his chest.I immediately recognized the red suit and sandalwood mixed with vanilla cologne.

This is just the first chapter of the story and I promise it will get better as the story progresses
