Gia ____ I looked at my hands; I was wearing my trusty rings. I wanted to challenge this wolf as a human, not the Scion. I wanted to use my human skills, albeit a little boosted by the knowledge and power my magic afforded.  Davin searched my eyes. I leaned into him.  “Trust me,” I whispered in his ear and then kissed him.  Immediately, Davin’s rage subsided, and he smiled.  “Be careful. Everyone stared in shock at our little display when I looked around, except Scarlett, who grinned from ear to ear.  I turned to Matthew.  “Ready to play?
