Gia  ____ Joe attacked immediately, his fangs and claws elongating. He swiped at me, and I barely dodged. Davin growled furiously and raced toward Joe. I avoided another strike, only defending at that point. I needed answers so killing him was out of the question. “Restrain him if you can,” I shouted at Davin. He laced his arms through Joe’s from behind and held him still. Joe growled and strained to get to me, his aura darker than any I’d seen so far.  “Use your senses,” Rat urged.  I touched the magic and looked at him carefully. The black aura swirled around him, and as it moved, faint blue was visible underneath. The black seemed to be coming from a particular spot.
