Chapter 23When Eric finally returned to the diner with Benjamin, he couldn’t be certain what was more surprising to him. The fact that the diner was filled to overflowing with many souls. Or the shocking realization that only less than thirty minutes had passed since he and Benjamin left the diner to deal with Angela’s and Iwan’s souls. It certainly felt much longer than that. Maybe time flowed differently when one was in the underworld or something. Eric didn’t concern himself with that thought, though. He had other things in his mind. While Benjamin took care of the souls in the diner, Eric simply leaned against one of the walls and observed his boyfriend in action.
