“Welcome to my humble abode.”
Eric smiled at Benjamin as he darted his eyes around the entire room. It really was a modest place. Benjamin’s small house only had one floor, and the inside was more like a studio apartment. Eric was also astonished to note that there was only one full-size bed in it and nothing else. Then again, he shouldn’t have been so surprised. After all, Benjamin was a soul, not a human being. He didn’t require a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, or any other rooms that an ordinary mortal usually had inside his or her house or apartment. He also didn’t need any fixture and furniture for that matter. Eric should have been more bewildered and taken aback by the fact that Benjamin actually owned a house, albeit in a separate dimension from the mortal plane,
