CHAPTER 7

The tension in the car was very quiet . I was looking out of the window lost in thought mixed with the sound of other cars driving past us.

My mind was filled with Dante, tearing my clothes apart to have me in return for my favour.

I gasped and held my clothes tightly to my body.

“ Are you okay Eleanor?” Anas asked.

“I'm fine” I responded panting lightly.

We arrived at the Mansion. We all got down from the car.

Natalia sighed “ We will be in our apartment , you will be fine I know that” She said and planted a soft kiss on my forehead .

I smilled and hugged her tightly” Thank you Nat”.

“Hey wait for me” Anas said and hugged us both.

“See you later Eleanor “ Anas said, detaching from the hug. They both waved me good bye and left.

I took a deep breath and entered inside.

“You are back so soon?How did it go?” Liliana asked, approaching me.

I ran my hand through my hair” It was pointless, I only have one option left” I said, giving her a firm look.

She smiled” Told you that was the only way. Anyway he's in the dungeon, you have to wait for him to be done with what he's doing”.

“I can't wait Liliana, I'm going to see him now” I said, leaving no room for argument.

“Eleanor, you do not want to see what goes on in that dungeon, believe me. And also Dante won't appreciate you being there”. she tried to make me understand

“Relax Liliana, I will be fine and I'm not scared of Dante” I said, not sure if I really meant that

“Now show me where the dungeon is, I need to see him now,” I added.

Liliana sighed” Okay, follow me “. She said and led me to it. She stopped at the entrance.

“I can't follow you inside sorry, Dante gave me an assignment which I have not done, I need to be done with it before he comes out. You will be fine right?” She asked.

“ Thank you Liliana, I will be fine,” I said, giving her a reassuring smile.

She smiled back” Alright, you are going to tell me every detail of what will happen okay”.

“Sure will,” I chuckled. She nodded and left.

I sighed and stepped inside the dungeon, the place was dark. I was able to see because of the ray of light.

The air was filled with the smell of blood and sweat. I could hear the roar of terrifying screams.

I halted in my step, my breathing increased rapidly. I continued moving and saw a guard who was surprised to see me.

“Who are you?, and what are you doing here?” He asked pointing his gun at me.

I caressed my eyebrow” Seriously this again” seems I need to make a flier about being Dante's wife and hand it to every of his Guard.

“I want to meet Dante, my .. Husband” The word Husband felt very heavy in my mouth.

The guard looked at me with a raised eyebrow” You must think I'm stupid right?”.

“Actually yes I do” I said with a smirk.

“Eleanor?” Damian called out my name, surprised. “ What are you doing here?”.

“She’s an Intruder that claims to be the Boss’s wife Master Damian” The Guard said.

Damin faced the Guard and gave him a punch in the stomach, sending him flying backwards

“She's his wife”.

The guard staggered to get up” I had no idea, I'm sorry my lady” he said bowing his head.

“ Get out” Damian dismissed him. “ We really need to formally introduce you to the guards to avoid things like this”.

“What are you doing here Eleanor?” He asked.

“ I really need to speak to Dante, it's very urgent”. I responded.

“ You have to wait till he's done here, you can't see him now Eleanor. You can meet him as soon as he comes out, "he said.

“Look Damian, you can't stop me from seeing him, he forced me to marry him, he's my husband and I need his help as my husband. He has not really been a good husband and you know that right?” I asked with a smirk.

Damian shook his head lightly “ You are very stubborn Eleanor, you are exactly Dante's match”. He said and chuckled.

“Follow me then” He said and lead the way. I followed quietly.

We passed several guards, and they bowed to greet us.

I was observing the dungeon and my eyes fell on a cell. A man was inside ,both hands chained to the ceiling, with his legs hanging in the air. His body was full of bruises and blood. He was barely alive.

I gasped at his sight. Damian stopped and looked at me. His eyes then shifted to the man I was looking at.

“Don't feel sorry for him. He committed a great crime” He said without any remorse.

“Isn't it the job of the police to punish him then?” I asked.

Damian smiled” You won't understand” He said and continued working. I wondered how he could still smile after seeing this. I immediately followed him.

Just when I thought that was the height of a punishment , I saw worse, men being tortured, people locked up looking like corpses. Guards dragging out dead bodies.

This place was hell, and Dante was the Devil in charge. This Dungeon was hell on earth. I could hear piercing screams.

“His inside” Damian said and pointed at the door in front of us.

I nodded and stood by the door. A thought waved through my mind

“ I need your help Dante, I'm willing to do whatever you ask”. I said

“Oh Cupcake, I love when you are this submitive to me” he said and slowly caressed my body, from my neck moving to my cleavage.

He wrapped his hand around my waist and drew me closer to him” I better hope you are worth my help” he said and kissed me fiercely.

Damian cleared his throat, bringing me out of my imagination “Hey Eleanor, you've been standing looking at the door. Don't tell me you are afraid to meet your husband?“ he said with a smirk.

“No I'm not” I said and opened the door.

The attention quickly moved to me, The Guards looked at me surprised, Lucas looked at me with an opened jaw. His eyes then drifted to Dante seated backing me.

Lucas immediately went to Dante and whispered something in his ears. Dante still maintained his Demeanor.

I ignored the Guards gaze on me and slowly walked, the room was large with different equipment arranged behind locked bars. It was not like other rooms, I assumed this was specifically for Dante.

My eyes moved to the man that was being tortured by Lucas, he was tied to a chair, his face was badly swollen and dripping blood. He was breathing slightly.

I continued walking.

Lucas hurriedly blocked my path” What are you doing here Eleanor?You can't be here. I will lead you back inside the Mansion” He said in a low tone

“ I'm not leaving till I speak to Dante it's very important, you can't stop me” I said stubbornly

Lucas ran his hand through his hair in frustration “Eleanor please understand, you…, Dante waved his hands preventing him from speaking further.

He moved away from my path.

“ Take him away and feed him to the Panther, he must be very hungry” Dante said.

“Yes Boss” The Guards Responded and untiled the man.

I shrunk in fear as I heard his command.

“Please Viper, spear me, I made a mistake, I never wanted to take advantage of her” The man cried out, while being dragged out by the Guards.

His voice echoed across the lobi until it faded away.

Lucas bowed” I will send in a cleaner now”. He said and left

I nervously walked up to Dante who was still seated in his king size chair, wearing a black rolled sleeve with three buttons left unbuttoned, revealing some part of his tattoo on the right side of his chest.

His clothes has some splash of blood.

I was facing the Devil himself. All the confidence I have built went down the drain as I stood in his presence.

He stood up from the chair and looked at me. That was when I realised that he had a faint tattoo on his neck.

“Do you know the consequences of what you've done?” He said closing the distance between us.

I swallowed hard” I need your help Dante”.
