Leon's POV: I stood in front of the fountain in the center square of the Midnight Pack, a bouquet of white bellflowers in my hands. Today was Emily's birthday. More precisely, it was the day the hundredth prank was supposed to end. According to the plan, once it was over, Emily and I were finally supposed to make things official. A few yards away, Cameron flashed me an encouraging grin and a quick thumbs-up. Rick leaned against a pillar, watching me with amusement. I straightened my collar and started toward Emily. She was waiting for me on the far side of the fountain in a red dress that caught the last of the sunset. She was smiling when she looked at me, and the sunset glow had turned her hair to gold.
