“Angel? What happened to you?"
“Dylan?” Angel raised her head in surprise. "Since when did you come?"
"A few minutes ago. What happened to you?" Dylan repeated his question and bent down to look at the bandage on Angel's ankle.
“Just fell. Why didn't you tell me when you came? I can wait for you in the lobby."
“I wanted to give you a surprise. Did you really just fall?” Dylan squatted down and touched Angel's leg, which was covered in bandages. Dylan winced as he saw Angel's right leg swell to twice its size.
"You couldn't have just fallen."
Angel was forced to tell him what happened to her. Dylan wouldn't stop asking her until she explained everything. And Angel wasn't in the mood to make small talk or hide the truth from Dylan.
