Xander had been waiting at her desk, tapping his heels on the floor in annoyance, when Angel arrived. Lunchtime had ended two hours ago, but Angel only came back because Phoebe was so excited about taking her around the shopping center. Phoebe's car trunk was full of her shopping. Phoebe insisted on buying Angel two pairs of new bikinis and asked her to wear them to Bev's birthday party. Initially, Phoebe also wanted to go to Xander's room to apologize for their late return to the office, but Angel managed to convince her that she would be fine and Xander would not fire her just because she was gone too long with his future wife.
"Where have you been?"
“Accompany your future wife shopping. She was very excited to prepare your wedding.”
"It's been two hours since lunch ended."
