The first thing that came to Xander's mind after reading the contents of the letter was to drive at high speed to Angel's apartment and bang on the door loudly. To hell with the unit neighbors who would be angry because of the noise. Xander just wanted to vent his anger after finding a resignation letter in Angel's name on his desk.
“Open the damn door, Angel. I know you're there."
After five minutes of screaming like a crazy man, Angel opened the door for him. She was still wearing the formal suit she wore to go to the office this morning. She stared at Xander sharply through the narrow gap between the doors.
"What is it?"
"Open the door. We need to talk.”
“Isn't it obvious? We don't need to talk about anything.”
“I said open the door,” Xander growled behind the nearly closed door.
