Before then, I had never truly understood what people meant when they said dreams were an escape from reality. Back home, I had never needed an escape from my reality, hell I always wanted to be in my reality at all times because that was where I had dad and Anna. They were sources of joy for me but as I felt myself regain total control of my mind and body I just wanted to claw myself to death.
