“Jay…” I was pretty sure Ria was poking me on the cheek. I groaned and rolled to the other side, wrapping myself with the blanket and making sure she couldn’t touch me, “Gosh, you’re so hard to wake up.” And then I felt her full weight on me. She wasn’t heavy by any means but she made sure that the part that was near my head was heavy making it almost impossible to breathe. With my strength, I pushed her off of me, as gently as I could. She landed back to her side laughing. I sat up on the bed and glared at her. She smiled cheekily and then threw me my phone, “It’s been beeping for an hour. It woke me up. I have no idea how you wake up every morning when you can’t even hear your alarm.” It was then that I realized I was going to be late for work and that would probably earn me a death
