He didn’t like the idea of her staying up so late to finish a book but he didn’t want to stop her from doing what she loved most. So he stayed up with her, despite the fact that he had to wake up early tomorrow. He hated waking up early. “You can go to sleep first, Jay,” she said, aware that he was still awake, aware that he was staring at her. “Not until you do,” he replied, standing up from their bed and heading to her direction.
