Another bouquet of red roses just came in for me. This would be the fifth one for this week. Adam didn’t send flowers last week, but he graced me with his presence. But beginning Monday, he’s been sending roses and visiting me regularly. I’m still indifferent towards him but he doesn’t back down. He’ll sit on the chair in front of me and wait till I snap at him and tell him to leave. Which I already do the moment he steps in the office.
As for James, we rarely get to talk nowadays. It’s been nine days since I found out about Christian’s condition, and James has been almost always with Georgina since then. I admit that it bothers me even if I know he’s only doing his duties as her best friend but still, they’ve had history and you can’t blame me for playing the jealous wife.
