Chapter Two LISA's Point of View (Katie's Mum) I woke up this morning to the sun blasting through my blinds. At least I didn't have to sleep on the floor or some thing last night, Mine and Katie's beds and most of our stuff had arrived over here already. I have a busy day a head of me. I'll have to sort out what we have done, What we haven't got, What we need as well as going out to look for a job. I'm happy that Katie decided to come here with me. I knew as soon as I told her it was Huntington beach she would come with me. She loves this place, and I can see why. It's a beautiful place. I dragged myself out of my nice, warm cosy bed and over to my bath room. Mine and Katie's bed rooms had ensuites as well as having one a separate bath room that connected to the hall way.  I hoped in the shower quickly and hoped back out again.  I decided to straighten my hair today. Thank god, My suitcases are here. After I did my hair and make up, I walked over to my bed. I tipped my clothes all over it, I grabbed my red strapless corset-style top, one that Katie was always robbing off me, and a pair of black skinny jeans, One's that I was always robbing from her. Me and my daughter share our clothes. Its some thing we have always done. We didn't mind it.  After much thinking, I decided a nice pair of wedges would match quite well. I grabbed my blood red ones my oldest son had bought me for mothers day. I walked out of my bed room and headed to Katie's room. She was so happy last night when we came home, Wow, home sounds weird. But in a good way. She loved how big her bed room was, she even had a walk-in closet and a balcony. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Trying to wake Katie up is like trying to wake the dead.  After about 5 minutes I decided to use one of her s**t head father's tricks. I headed down to the kitchen and over to the boxes that had kitchen s**t written over the side, Note to self, never, ever let your teenagers help you pack up stuff to move house. This made me smile at the thought of all my children working together to help me instead of fighting. The joys of have three teenage kids. I opened the box and grabbed a jug out. I headed over to the sink and filled the jug with water before going back over to the stairs and heading up to Katie's room. She is going to hate me for this.  As I got closer to her bed room door, I started to laugh like a child. I decided to give her one more chance so I knocked again, This time, I got an answer. 'f**k off' I heard her scream from the other side of the door. That's it, I hate that kind of talk, but I guess since she has spent the whole of her life around me and her dad fighting and swearing at each other she was bound to pick up a few words.  She and her two brothers were swearing by the time they were 10. After I heard her snoring again, I knew it was safe to go in. If you like living, Never go into Katie's bed room or try to wake her up.  I smiled again. I tip toed over to her bed, with heels on a wooden floor, It wasn't easy but I knew she was in a deep sleep and wouldn't hear me. As I got closer, I threw the stone cold water all over her. She woke up straight away. She wasn't happy. 'Wake up, Sweetie' I shouted at her as I  ran for the door, leaving her to get up. I knew she would because she would be coming after me as soon as she was dressed. I took this as a chance to leave and find a job. I grabbed my keys from the side in the kitchen and my handbag. I walked back over to the stairs and shouted up to Katie. 'Kate, I'm going out for a while. Unpack while I'm gone, Ok?' I knew she would hear me, I could hear her shouting stuff at me to herself. 'Bite me' she screamed back. I just smiled and headed out the door to the car in the drive way. I couldn't be bothered to put it way last night. I knew it wouldn't get stolen because we had 50-foot gates surrounding the house. I hoped in the car and drove down into town to look for a job. God, I didn't know it would be this hard to find a god damn job, I've looked in cafe's, shops, even bars. Nothing. I decided to grab some thing to eat and head down to the beach. I walked over to the pier and found a bench to sit down on.  I was sat just staring at the sea for about 20 minutes but then I noticed a ''Help wanted'' sigh in the window of a bar that I  didn't notice before. It had a big neon blue and green sign that read ''Steves!''.  It looked weird in the day but I bet it would look beautiful at night. I finished my ice cream and walked over to the bar. It looked closed but I knocked on the door any way. After only about 30 seconds the door opened, and there stood the most beautiful man I had ever seen. He looked me up and down a smiled. 'Hello,' I decided to speak first, as he was to busy staring at me. 'Oh, Hello. May I help you?' He asked with a smile, I smiled back and blushed a little. 'Yes, Um, There is a help wanted sign in the window, I was wondering if I could speak to the manager?' 'Well then, come on in' he stepped aside to let me in, I smiled and walked in to the bar. After about an hour and a very weird interview, Stephen decided that I would be perfect for a bar maid job. When I left, Richie walked me to the door. I stepped out but he grabbed my shoulder. 'Hey, Wait a minute' I turned around to face him. God, He was yummy. 'Yes?' I asked with a seductive smile. I decided to flirt a little. No harm in flirting. He seemed to like it and smiled. 'Steve wanted me to tell you, you start tonight at 10. and you will finish at 3. Is that ok?.' My smile faded a tad, maybe he didn't get the flirting after all.  'Actually, Not really. We only arrived in town very late last night. It's short notice, But I'll see what I can do. I'm sure my daughter won't mind being by her self for a while.' He smiled at me. 'Well, then here is my number, call me and let me know if you can work, Ok.' I was a little confused. 'Shouldn't I have Steve's number for that? I asked. 'What, you dont want my number?' I wanted to mentally hit myself, HE WAS FLIRTING BACK! I shook my head. 'I Dont mind. Any way, I've got to go. Make sure Katie hasn't filled the place with water or burnt it to the ground or some thing. I'll phone you and let you know.' He nodded. 'Bye Richie'. I waved at him as I ran to my car. 'Bye' he shouted before shutting the door and going back into the bar I saw him take the help wanted sign out of the window.  I got in my car and drove home. As the gates opened and I drove up the drive way, I could hear music blasting from the house... All the front room windows were open and I could see her jumping around on the sofas. I just smiled. I got out of the car and beeped car alarm. I turned around and used another button to close the gates. They are automatic. Posh. I walked over to the front door, and I could hear two voices on the other side.  What the f**k?  Who was in my house with my daughter?!  It's probably just one of the next door nosy people. I opened the door and was taken a back in shock but I was happy, Katie would be very happy now. But what's she doing here so soon? 'Emily, What the hell are you doing here!? I shouted, surprised...
