CRYSTAL
Pulling out of the kiss, I smirked when I saw the shocked look on their faces.
"What did you just do?" Riley gritted her teeth.
"What do you think?" I asked, smiling.
Javier was about to say something when my dad walked in. " What are you three doing here?" He asked with a surprised look.
"Oh, Javier and I came to rest for a bit, but I don't know about her." I replied, eyeing Riley.
"Okay, you guys should head back to the hall." He said, and I nodded, linking my hand with Javier, who flashed me a surprised look, but I ignored that and smiled. "Let's go."
When we got to the door, I turned back, and smirked at Riley, who was looking like a ghost before walking out of the room with Javier.
"You should leave too." I heard my dad say to her, and I smiled.
"What are you doing?" Javier said loudly, taking his hand away from mine.
"Oh, please. Do you think I want to hold your hand too?" Sneering at him, I rolled my eyes before walking away. I could feel his gaze on me as I did.
I went back to the hall, and my mum came over with some people who began to congratulate me, but I was already getting tired. I wanted to leave this place, but my wish only came true after two hours.
It was finally time to leave for our honeymoon islands on one of grandpa Jo's islands. I and Javier were standing in front of the car. I had now changed into a simple navy blue gown.
"You both should enjoy your honeymoon to the fullest, okay?" Grandpa Jo spoke up.
"We will, sir." I smiled.
"You guys should go on now. Enjoy!" my mum said, and I went into the car with Javier. The driver started the car immediately, driving away from there.
Sighing out, I closed my eyes and placed my head on the headrest.
It took about two hours before we finally got to our destination and a gasp left my lips when my eyes came in contact with the beautiful island. The car came to a stop, and I quickly got out of the car, impatient to feast my eyes on the beauty of the island.
The blue sea, which was looking calm and at a few distances, was a mansion which had flowers surrounding it. It was really a beautiful sight to behold.
"Close your mouth, will you?" I heard him say, and I turned to glare at him, "Are you crazy?"
"Stop acting like a poor person... oh, I forgot, you are poor when compared to me." He smirked before entering the mansion.
"Bastard." I looked around one last time before going in too.
"Welcome sir and ma. Congratulations on your wedding." A lady said loudly when we came in. Javier just went upstairs without answering her.
"Thank you." Smiling as I stared at her, I could tell she was a maid from the way she was dressed.
"I'm tired. Can you show me to my room?" I asked.
"Yes ma'am, please follow me." She replied and started leading the way upstairs while I followed.
"This is your room, ma'am." She said when we got to the front of a room.
"Thanks." I smiled, and she walked away. Pulling the door open, I frowned when I saw Javier, who was about taking off his shirt.
"What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you that." He scoffed, pulling down his shirt.
"What? I was told this is my room." I glared at him.
"Well, sorry, though I'm not sorry, this is my room, so get the hell out." He glared back.
I scoffed and folded my arms under my b**bs. "I'm not going anywhere cause this is my room."
"Oh right. Grandfather must have wanted us to stay in the same room, but that's not happening, so leave." He walked to me, and before I knew it, I was pushed out of the room.
"Are..." He shut the door on my face before I could talk.
My face formed into a deep frown, and I raised my hand to hit the door hard, but I held myself back. I would only end up getting hurt. Breathing out, I turned to the room beside his and, thankfully, it was not locked, so I went in and immediately jumped on the bed.
Finally, I am done with this shitty wedding. I can sleep now, but when I remembered that I needed to bathe, I groaned and stood up from the bed, walking sluggishly to the bathroom.
I took a quick bath before coming back out in a bathrobe. I moved to the closet and opened it, but it was empty.
Aiish! My things should be in that jerk's room, but I really do not want to see his face again today.
"Should I sleep like this?" Staring down at the bathrobe, I shrugged and slumped on the bed, dozing off immediately.
The next morning came fast. I was currently standing in front of Javier's room, knocking on the door for him to open it but he didn't, and I needed to take my things out of the room.
"Javier!!!!!" I yelled out when I couldn't take it anymore and in the next few seconds, the door opened.
"What the f**k do you want?" Staring at his disheveled hair and his unclear eyes, I scoffed. Can't believe he is still asleep.
"What the f**k do you think you are doing?" He asked when I forced myself in, but I said nothing. I went to the closet and opened it, taking my things out and placing them in my bag before turning to leave, but my eyes caught my makeup and stuff on the dressing table. I immediately packed everything and left the room for my own.
I dropped the makeup on the dressing table and the bag on the bed. I began to search for what to wear since I already had my bath.
"What the..." I shook my head as I stared at all the revealing clothes there. I can't believe my mum packed all these for me. Most of the clothes were transparent and short. She must be dreaming if she thinks I would wear all these.
After minutes of searching for a perfect dress to wear, I finally settled for a black gown which stopped at a few inches before my knees. At least this was better.
"Breakfast is ready." I heard the lady say from outside, and I went to open the door.
"Huh. Why are you there?" She asked with a surprised look.
"I prefer this room. Didn't you say breakfast is ready?" She nodded, and I smiled, walking out of the room completely. "Let's go, I'm starving."
She nodded before leading the way to the dining room.
"Wow! This is a lot." I exclaimed at the sight of the different types of food on the table. There were shrimps, pasta, fried chicken, crabs.
I quickly settled down on a chair, watching eagerly as she dished out the food.
"Enjoy." She bowed before moving back, and I nodded with a smile. "Thank you."
"What's your name, though?" I asked as I began eating.
"Mia." I
I nodded and focused on the food. I must say…it's really delicious.
The doorbell rang loudly, and she went to open it.
"Who are you?" I could hear her ask whoever it was.
"Where is Javier?"
I stopped eating immediately, that voice... standing up, I went to the living room, and a frown appeared on my face when I saw who it was, Riley. I just knew she was the one.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, and she scoffed, walking towards me. "I'm here to see my boyfriend, of course."
"My husband, you mean?"
"Oh, please. He is just your husband on paper. He does not love you, so stop getting ahead of yourself." She sneered.
I shook my head, taking a step closer to her. "I can't believe you right now. Dating your best friend's husband, that's despicable."
"I met him before you did, okay? And about being best friends, why don't we stop?" She snarled.
"I should be the one to say that. Let's stop being friends. You really...disgust me."
