Chapter 29Montoya’s man had seen the headlights before Sean had. That’s why he’d gone down so quickly. He didn’t know Sean was squatting in the dark with a gun no more than twelve feet away. Sean’s pulse raced. His eyes darted from the approaching lights to where the man had ducked. He glanced over his shoulder, seeing nothing but the Bronco to his right. Montoya had probably gone low as well. Whoever was driving toward them likely worked at the park. Lisa had said the gates were closed every night. No overnight camping.
