Chapter 42Sean gazed out his hospital room window at a kid shooting baskets on some blacktop across the street. He couldn’t have been more than thirteen, but he was good, sinking most of them. A couple of times he even seemed to surprise himself, smiling from ear to ear when a shot would bobble its way on in. He was by himself but was having a blast.
