It was already night and the bus finally take its first stop. People hop out to buy some snacks from the stop, others brought more than they need and others just take a piss. People in the far part were handing out drugs, others are working and the others are just there, standing and doing nothing as they gaze upon the night sky. The group walked out and took some stretches and they were greeted by the cold wind as cars in the highway continued on. Luckily Amis was wearing the scarf that Hässlicher gave him, Troy with his coat while the two weren't much effected since they don't feel any temperature. 

“Damn why is it cold?” Troy shivered despite he was wearing a coat that would gave him enough warmth but the wind was too cold, Amis was also having a trouble time while Hässlicher was wearing his leather jacket and feel nothing. 

“Probably just the wind I guess, it is winter after all.” Heather answered the roman, he was still shivering and felt like it wasn't natural to be that cold. 

“You sure?” His suspicion slowly think that there was a deity doing this, he knows it’s night and simply it would be cold as well, winter isn't that cold as well since he already know how cold winter is and yet the coldness here is far different than usual.

“Yes.” Heather stated. Troy wasn't satisfied to that answer and he wanted a more in-depth understanding on what was going on and who should be blame for the low temperature. 

As they walk in to the store, they bought a few candy bars and some hotdogs for Amis, Chips for Heather, some cookies for Hässlicher and somehow, grapes for Ayame. Troy didn't bought anything since he already has enough rations. 

‘Why is it so damn cold…’ Troy was getting furious in his head as this question keeps circling all over his head. Ayame who was few meters away from him understand what he was referring to despite she doesn’t feel the coldness of anything. She then went to the Roman and sparked a conversation between the two.

“You alright?” she asked as the roman was shivering from the coldness. 

“You think? Of course no.” Troy ranted, he was getting frustrated from the cold of either the store or something else. 

“I'm surprised that your coat doesn't work like Hässlicher's. That coat should be thicker than Hässlicher's right? Since metal requires more atoms than fabrics.” Ayame asked the roman, he too was confused on why this was happening. 

“So you think it's a deity doing this?” Troy asked the succubus, she sighed and cross her arms under chest.

“Don't just generalize something happen is done by a deity, sometimes it can be either a demon, yokais or spirits. Besides, it seems that this is not a deity's fault…. Feels kinda new not gonna lie.” Ayame then turn around and started looking for something, this grabbed Troy's attention as the succubus started gazing around in different parts of the store.

“What’s the matter?” he asked while he was shivering. 

“You're right… but it's not a deity but a spirit.” Ayame stated, this also grabbed Heather's attention. 

“Anything wrong ma'am?” asked by the cashier to the angel who felt the presence of a nearby spirit. 

“Nothing.” Heather said as she continued on paying the snacks they bought. Ayame slowly felt the presence is getting stronger and stronger, despite being a spirit, it sure has a presence near to a demon or a deity. 

“Ayame.. You felt that?” Heather said after paying the bill and Amis grabbed the food with Hässlicher. The temperature in the store is getting lower and the cashier felt the shivers as well. 

“What the…” he said as he looked at the room thermometer, it was near to 0° Celsius. Customers in the store started shivering and the pocket of clouds came out from their mouth as their breathe slowly become moist. Others tried to hide their arms from the coldness but their cloth slowly become sturdy for no reason, beverages from the beverage aisle slowly become frozen as its liquids become solid ice.

“Yup I told you.” Troy remarked to Heather. The angel sighed as she see that the spirit was toying not only them but everyone here in the store. 

“hush.” Heather then started rubbing her palms as heat sparked out of it, she then tapped the cold air as heat gradually spread through the air, it was getting warm, warm enough for those who are having issues from the cold. 

“You didn't told me you can do that.” Troy remarked once more, Heather was getting annoyed from the roman, like as usual. 

“Ayame, take him back to the bus and bring back Amis here.” Heather ordered the succubus, she nodded and grabbed Troy and went outside.

“Why?” Troy asked the succubus, she shrugged as she also doesn't know why Heather did that, but from what Ayame thought, he was getting annoying or Heather needs to teach Amis the new power. 

“I don't know… Amis! Come with me.” Ayame then leaned over to the knight as people from the bus are getting cold as well.

“Troy, use the energy in your surroundings as heat you got that?” Ayame ordered the roman, he nodded as he started glowing his palm as the cold wind surrounding him slowly getting to room temperature and decided to go to the bus to warm the other passengers.

“What's the matter?” Amis asked the succubus. She then opened he doors to see Heather was already fighting not just a spirit but also a deity, and by surprised, Ayame's suspicions was right. The presence of a spirit is too low to have the same presence of a deity but having both combined makes sense.

“Listen Ayame, teach Amis about Energy manipulation while I handle these two.” Heather ordered, she then morphed the near by objects into metal bars to stop the spirit while her palms began turning the nearby wind to heat just to stop the deity.

“alright, listen Amis. There is a branch in the Quanti power tree that once learned, it would help you learn more about other Quanti powers. Here let me give you an example.” The succubus said as she started to rub her palms, a red glow came from her arms as a signature gleam and the atoms of the cold wind went active as the coldness of the atmosphere beside them slowly become warm and Amis felt that warmth. 

“Fascinating, but how can I do that?” Amis was excited to learn this new power, learning that not only reconstruction of atoms is a huge tip from the heavens but also manipulating an environment's energy is a huge factor. 

“Simple, just rub your arms and your signature glow would appear from your palm then use that glow to manipulate the energy through your thoughts, or your weapon can do on its own.” She instructed the knight. He then rub his palm as a bluish glow came out and felt the presence of a having the control over everything that is nearby but Amis didn’t mind that. 

“Oy! Hurry up or else I'll defeat these two by myself!” the angel shouted as she used the store's wind once more into flames as the ice from nearby slowly melt, the innocent people were in the far back as they were shivering in fear, Ayame saw this and throw in a blue fire near them, this gave them enough warmth to sustain them from the cold temperature.

“I am quite surprise to see that an angel is far superior than a deity, why don't you show some respect?” The deity told Heather, the angel was furious about this and Ayame felt it. Amis then made a simple fireball with the combination of reconstruction of atoms and manipulate energy.

“Listen here, I am a million years older than you so why not show me some respect!” she said as she burst a nearby machine beside the deity, the fire manage to burn the ice from the deity. 

“Oh no…” Ayame gulped in fear as the angel was getting furious once more, Amis then throw the fireball to the deity and reformed his sword [Holy Excalibur] and heat from the nearby fire was transferred to it and sliced the deity with the sword before Heather began to rage in fury. 

“What the…” the deity was having trouble to speak as her lips were tore apart in half as the heat from the blade began to spread through the deity's body and in all of a sudden, she exploded into different pieces of ice. 

“It’s better to stop Heather before she get angry or something unworldly would happen.” Amis remarked, Ayame then took Heather's role and decided to warm the store's atmosphere back to normal, the people we’re saved and the cashier was with them and they began celebrating to their heroes. 

“Let’s go now.” Heather calmly said. They all agreed and left, straight back to the bus where everyone was eating alongside with Troy and Hässlicher.

“Sup.” One of the kid remarked to the three.

“Let's go now…” the bus driver stated, everyone went back to their seat and so they continued their highway journey. With both Amis and Troy learned how to Manipulate Energy, this time, it's Hässlicher's turn so they could be prepare for the battle against Tachibana. 

In the abandon house in Las Vegas, a loud burst of table was heard in the hallways, roars of an angered demon can be heard and fear was growing. 

“HOW ARE THEY ONE STEP AHEAD FROM ME?!” Tachibana shouted after breaking the desk where the place he used to watch the group by a monitor.

“Lord Tachibana, I think we should skip some parts of the branches and further train more about the next step?” asked by one of his disciples.

“and that is?” Tachibana asked to the cowering disciples who were just pulled into this bidding.

“Manipulating the natural forces.” They started, this grabbed his attention and probably for the best, use this against the group. 

“Interesting. Tell the deities to be summoned and teach me that power.” Tachibana ordered his disciples.

“Yes my lord.” They states as each of them left and went to the deities who were still in the abandoned house. In a far corner, Ampatite heard this and she gulped in fear as she knows, this is a huge trouble not only for her but for everyone.
