When Rin died. Shin and Kai was really devastated. Shin decided to not blame Kai on what happened instead accepted it in his self that since Rin protected Kai, it will be his life mission from now on to protect the boy.
After an hour of crying, he coaxed Kai to wait outside the cave while he will bury his daughter. He does not allow Kai to enter the cave with him, Kai gave his royal robe along with the 4 legendary beast that he carved on the wood for Rin to Shin.
Shin silently accepted it and carried his daughter back to the cave. Since he is an elemental mage that has affinity with earth element. He created a secret tomb inside the cave with the size of a large room. He installed a bed in the middle and let red phoenix flowers grow on it as a cushion.
After meticulously cleaning his daughter's corpse, he dressed her with a beatiful white satin. It is a dress that his wife owns when she was still alive. It's quite oversized by a bit so he arranged it to fit Rin's petite body.
Gently, he laid his daughter on the bed and put the 4 carved beast in her hands that he arranged on her bosom. He also created a white flower crown to adorn her head.
Shin raised his hands to remove the Face illusion veil on his daughters face, revealing a breathe taking beautiful face that highly resembled his deceased wife.
He can't help but felt a stabbing pain in his heart. First, he failed to protect his wife and now his daughter.
At that moment he made a soul oath that he will protect Kai with all his might and take revenge for his daughter. He will protect the person his daughter protected in exchange of her own life.
He used Kai's royal robe as a blanket for his daughter's body, and said his goodbye after. He carefully arranged the phoenix-dragon ring on his daughters neck. He remembered that his wife gave it to their daughter before she died. Looking back once more, he went out of the room and sealed it with his power and left.
If someone by chance discovered the cave, no one will be able to know that there is an enchantingly beautiful girl, seemingly sleeping and waiting to be awakened inside.
Erhinai rise from the flower bed, looked at the robe that keep her warm for seven years. It's amazing that everything around her remains unchanged. For some unknown reason it seems that time stops inside her tomb.
How did she know that she's been sleeping for seven years? She doesn't. It's like she just simply know. She also realized that when Rin died that day, it's also the day that she was reincarnated on Rin's body.
Unconciously, she touched her neck and felt the golden ring, she pulled the necklace remove the ring in the necklace and wear it on her left ring finger instead.
It is the same ring. The ring that Jeri used to propose to her.
"Come on out" she commanded to no one in particular. But a flash of blue and red materialize in front of her.
"Yes,Master!" two childish voiced from the flashed sounded in unison.
"Just call me Erhinai,that will do." she said to the two children that looks like 9 years old, kneeling respectfully in front of her.
It's a beautiful boy and girl. The boy has a blue-black hair with twinkling galaxy like blue eyes. While the girl has a flaming red hair with deep blood red pupil eyes.
"But Master we can't do that". The girl says while pouting.
"Why not?" Erhinai said raising one eyebrow.
"Because it would be disrespectful, Master". Said the boy calmly.
Erhinai feels frustrated, she's not used of someone calling her Master and she doesn't have a heart for these children infront of her to call her Master and it just simply doesn't feel right.
"How about calling me, Big sister instead?" she said with a smile.
But the two didn't bother to respond at all indicating their stand. "Look, I appreciate the both of you for bringing me back to life and using your powers to sustain my body for seven years. I appreciate your kindness, effort and all, that's why I don't have the heart to treat you as a slave or servant. It's better if we could all just be friends, right?" she explained.
Seeing that she would not take no for answer, the boy and the girl nodded to each other. Thinking that it would not hurt if they just follow as she ordered them to, they nodded in agreement to please her.
"We understand,Mas- we mean Big Sister's intention and we're really happy about it." said the red phoenix girl.
"Alright. We should think a name for you two. I can't call you by your real name that's too much of a give away and it might bring us headaches in the future. Do you have preffered name in mind?"
The two merely shake their heads.
"May we have the honor of Mas-..Big Sister Erhinai to name us". Blue water dragon boy said.
"Hmmm..well if that's the case. I'll name Phoenix as Little Red and Dragon as Little Blue." She decided for a lack of imagination. How would she know, that it'll be hard to pick a name for them.
"We gladly accept. Many thanks to Master!" the children excitedly shouted in unison, momentarily forgetting that they should call her "Big Sister".
Seeing their beaming faces, Erhinai let is pass for now.
Erhinai close her eyes, to look inside her soul. She was shocked to notice that the Ai was now embedded on her heart space.
She studied it for several minutes and open her eyes again.
"Let's go out." she said to Little Blue and Little Red.
