Chapter 15:The Heart of Eldarath.
Aurora's eyes wandered through the sea of statues, each face a testament to the horrors that lurked within the heart of Eldarath. She felt a sense of trepidation, as if she was being drawn into a web of darkness from which there was no escape.
The Shadow Weaver's voice was a gentle whisper, urging her forward. "Come, Aurora, let us reach the heart of Eldarath. Let us uncover the secrets that lie within."
Aurora's companion hesitated, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "I don't like this," he growled.
But Aurora pressed on, driven by a sense of morbid curiosity. She needed to know the truth, no matter how terrible it might be.
As they journeyed deeper into the heart of Eldarath, the shadows seemed to grow longer and darker, like grasping fingers. The air was thick with an otherworldly energy, and Aurora could feel the weight of the city's secrets pressing down upon her.
Finally, they reached a vast, crystal door, adorned with ancient runes of power. The Shadow Weaver reached out a hand, and the door slid open, revealing a chamber of unspeakable horror.
At the center of the room, a great crystal throne pulsed with dark energy. Seated upon the throne was a figure of unimaginable power, its face a twisted mockery of humanity.
"Behold," the Shadow Weaver whispered, "the Heart of Eldarath."
Aurora felt her mind recoiling in horror, as if she was gazing into the abyss itself. She knew, in that moment, that she had uncovered a secret that was meant to remain hidden.
The figure on the throne spoke, its voice like thunder in Aurora's mind. "So, you have come to uncover the secrets of Eldarath," it growled. "Very well, I shall show you."
And with that, the darkness closed in, like a shroud of eternal night.
