John pov

I heard her scream in the cells below, i wasn't looking forward to this, the alpha called me to his office after the guards locked Karen up, walking into his office, he didn't waste any time

“John, i called you in here because of what you told me out there, you rejected her two years ago because you knew she was drama, you know our rules, you can not reject a mate unless they cheat or betray a pack or kills another pack member, So, since you rejected her, i am leaving her in your hands, when she wakes up you will be in charge of her, you have four months to change her around so you will accept her as your mate again, if you don't she will be banished as a rogue, you know those were the rules, and we stuck by them for many years, why did you have to go and reject that girl?”

“Alpha with all due respect, shes drama, she had a big mouth on her, for years she said she was going to be luna, and when you didn't mark her, she left to make you jealous, so before she left i rejected her, it didn't hurt because we never had a bond, i was seeing someone else, now i have to put that on hold because you want me to change this girl, its not right alpha, this girl is my second chance mate, i can't just toss her to the side because Karen is back.” Hearing him sigh, he knew all about second chances, not many get a second chance, but i did. and im not going to pass that up. she's smart. strong, she works hard shes a guard like i am, i adore her, she just turned eighteen and we realized we where mates, that night we maded and marked each other, been together since, im not about to push my mate to the side for this girl,

“Yeah, and also my cousin you dip s**t, so you better treat her right,” He leaned down at his desk, than he brought a long and large chain tossing it to me, i knew it wasn't silver because it wasn't burning my hands, looking at him i raised an eyebrow at him,

“You will need to chain this to something so she can't get free, she will be on house arrest at your house, i know Lura will understand, just talk to her i'm sure she will understand, well i hope she understands, i give you two months to get that crazy woman on the right track,’ i left to head to my house, i nailed the chain to a pole that is unbreakable,her things were already here inside the bedroom i picked out for her, i looked through everything, i found bottles of woldbane and silver even spell books and potions, i burnt the books and the potions, and then i tossed out the wolfbane and silver careful not to get anything on me. than i walked over to the jail that we had her inside of, Now im out side of her cell looking at her, she looked rough, her bones healed from Amber beating the crap out of her, but she still had a few brusies on her face, shaking my head, looking up at me, she wanted me to get her out of here, unlocking the cell door, she smirked thinking her little kindness had workedm but it didn't i didn't move until i told her this,

“Karen, i told the alpha and luna i would watch over you, meaning i am in charge of you, meaning you will be living with me now, all your s**t is at my house, and i looked through everything before i put the things away, all the silver and wolfsbane you had, was tossed out, all the spells you had the books and s**t, are burnt up, i will be responsible of you for now on, The alpha is giving me four months to get you in shape or he will banish you and make you a rogue.” Moving out of the way, we walked to my house, Lura was already living in my home. Im going to have to speak with her after this. Once in the house, i told her to sit down, i then quickly put the chain on her ankle.

than told her,

You are on house arrest. This chain is long enough to go where ever you want in this house, the shower, bedroom, kichen, living room, even on the porch, but thats as far as you go, you try and break the chain, i will know about it, then Ace will banish you to be a rogue, do you really want that? if you want to go and take a shower you go do that, your room is right upstairs to the left with your things inside, everything is already put away,, your bathroom is inside of it, go shower, We will see you in a few hours, the kitchen is to your left, if your hungry, theres food in there to cook and eat, have fun,”

I left without saying another word. i needed to go talk to my mate before she finds out from someone else,
