Alpha Ace pov

tonight was the luna ceremony, i knew she was new to all of this, our pack is different we do some of the ways the old ways, but other than that, we are the same, once the ceremony was over went into the mating chamber, i didn't want to mate with my mate in front of the elders for the first time, but i knew we had to, they believe in the old ways, i hated it, im going to change the rules after the ceremony, they will have to learn that i am the alpha and what i say goes, I made the mating quickley, and the marking, i will mate her the right way, this was my first time as well, i didn't want to stop once i was inside of her, but i wanted our first time to be on our on, so i quickly mated her and marked her, we where done after that, once the elder told everyone we where fully mated and marked, i told the pack to enjoy the food and music, i was taking my mate to rest, they did wolf whistles knowing what it meant, i lead my mate off the stage back into our room, once alone, i took her robe off and lead her to the bathroom, i filled the tub up with hot water, but not to hot, i filled it up then shut the water off, we both got into the bath, i turned her around to face me,

“Alpha, How about tomorrow we go for a pack run and go on a hunt, aren't we supposed to go on a run after the full moon,” Charlie was right, we always go on a pack run after the full moon, i mean its still the full moon, but we let the real wolves do their thing on that day, we go on our run letting our wolves take over while they run and hunt, i looked around me, our pack was getting bigger, and they were happy, its something that i love to see,

“Yes, We will go on our run and hunt tomorrow night. It's a tradition that we do the day after the full moon.”

‘Why do you do it the night after? why not now?”

“Because we let the animals have their time, like the wolves that live in the woods, we let them hunt on the full moon and do what ever animals do, so for years we been doing it the night after, we run through the human town, right back into the woods, we hunt bear or moose, which ever are wolves choose to do, its like connecting with the moon goddess, we let our wolves take control, we even do that during our training, our wolves know when to stop, we don’t kill each other, they train not to hurt but to learn, we even sometimes go barefoot and walk, its no big deal,” she looked at me like i was crazy, but she will figure it out,

“Come on, take your slippers off, you will find out what im talking about,

Amber pov

I think my mate is crazy, he wants me to take my slippers off so i can walk on the ground barefoot, i just don't understand, so i decided to humor him, i was already embarrassed what we had to mate our first time in front of a few elders, and now walking barefoot, i slide off my slippers, hoping i wouldn't bit by a bug, He was talking about going on a pack run the day after the full moon, yeah i can understand about letting the animals have their time on the full moon, but now here i am walking off the porch of the pack house barefoot, hoping i wouldn't get bit or my foot get cut on something, when we reached the ground, i could feel the grass under my feet, it felt good, my parents always got onto me for not wearing shoes outside, they told me it wasn't lady like to go out in public without shoes, or dresses, so i grew up always wearing them, even though i really didn’t like that many dresses, i always liked wearing shorts, jeans or skirts, mainly jeans and shorts, i always had to have my hair put up and makeup on, i hated wearing makeup, i wear very little like eye shadow and eyeliner, that's about it, i don't like to wear to much, we kept walking down a path, the path was lit up but light poles,

Where are we going?”

“Im going to show you the stable were we keep the horses, i wanted to give you a tour of our land, there's so much to see,” Did he say horses, i loved horses, We went down the path that lead us to the stables, i was thinking they were going to be in there, but they weren't, they were out in the forest eating,

‘I thought you said we were going to the stables to see them, but they are out here eating and running around,”

‘Well, yeah, the horses are wild, they come and go as they please, every now in than they let one of us ride them, we have goats, and sheep as well, they are in the stables, we cut the sheeps wool to make clothes, but it takes awhile to do the things we need to do with it, so while we have people for that, we also like to shop, like i said we are a little old school, but that will soon change after i talk to the elders tomorrow, I nodded as he showed me the stable were the sheep and goats were, the goats where adorable, i wanted to hold one, but i didn't. i know if i did, i would want to bring it with me, so i didn’t touch them. we started walking to the pack house,

‘Come on, it's still early. Let me show you around the pack house,” so that's what we did, we went to the pack house so he could give me the tour,
